Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing wrestling and boxing before her debut as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd built on this victory and began a 3 fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round of all fights. After that, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's professional career. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey in professional boxing. Invicta eleven saw Aspen slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and was victorious via submission armbar in the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill in the first round, and she was able to stop her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen continued to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks was a unanimous winner. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina with a pound and grind to her, winning the TKO during the second round. She continued her dominance and scored an even amazing victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd beat Evinger within the first minute and earned a reward for her performance on the night. The first big fight she fought in was with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fights were an intense fight which Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. The third time she fought on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in an majority decision.
