Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing wrestling and boxing before her debut as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd built on this victory and began a 3 fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round of all fights. After that, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks was a unanimous winner. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina with a pound and grind to her, winning the TKO during the second round. She continued her dominance and scored an even amazing victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd beat Evinger within the first minute and earned a reward for her performance on the night. The first big fight she fought in was with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fights were an intense fight which Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. The third time she fought on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in an majority decision.
